To S'mores or Not to S'mores...

As the summer turns into fall and the leaves begin to change, we are reminded of the seasons of life that change right before our eyes. The seasons that do not ask permission but do what life naturally knows how to do. The functions of what was and is, change into new things, new things to appreciate and grow with. These moments in our life groom us for a new position within those seasons, how we dress and how we walk (I personally walk a whole lot faster when it gets cold-not a cold weather girl here)..and though there are many things about a new season that we anticipate and walk quickly towards, there are many things that we do not like and both of those require us to adjust accordingly, such as life. Do we embrace the cold weather trends and buy the latest fashion in mittens and heavy coat attire, do we humbly lay under electric blankets, watch Christmas movies (and all those awesome Hallmark love stories) and drink hot chocolate by the fire until its safe to enter the world of sunshine again or do we avoid it all together and lay under our warm blankets and sleep like a big ole grumpy bear until its all over? It is all a decision we CHOOSE for ourselves as we embrace what we know will change. I say, light that bon fire and stock up on marshmallows and cinnamon for Fall, stock that firewood, load that crockpot and play all the "Fa,lalala's" you can for winter, embrace the new life creations of spring and get that tan a cranking in summer because for we only have one life and laying down through a season shortens the greatness that comes from you, from each changing opportunity in life. Do we sleep through seasons we fear or do we crank up the holiday jam and make life happen for us no matter what??? Today, look at the change around you and decide--all in or all out, either way, we want you at our bonfires and our cookouts and I pray that today you will choose both, you will choose all and by golly you will even choose to host every single season and moment!! Enjoy the heck out of your day folks, today is the only today you will ever have-do it fully, do it on purpose and do it loud!!!!
